Offered in the highest purity polypropylene, our 96 well plates are available with well volumes of 350µL, 500µL, 600µL, 1.0mL, 2.0mL, and 4.0mL. Most plates are available RNase/DNase free and pre-sterilized. All plates meet SBS standards and bar coding is available for all plates.
- The 350µL plates are shallow round well plates available with flat bottoms, round bottoms, or V-bottoms.

96 Well 600µL Polypropylene Plates
ArcticWhite has added to the 96 Deep Well Plate offering. For 96 Round Deep Well, there are two new members of the family. AWLS-T110-2 is a 96 Round Deep Well Plate with 8X12 600µL tube strip inserts. These plates are ideal for smaller volume applications and the conical bottom facilitates complete emptying of the tube. AWLS-T110-3 offers the same capabilities, but the tube strips are fixed to the plate by ultrasound welding. Also available is the mated ArctiSeal sealing mat. Made from the highest grade silicone with a PTFE spray coating on the liquid contact side, the AWSM-2001RT sealing mat provides an excellent barrier to prevent solvent evaporation. If multiple injections are required for a given sample, this silicone sealing mat will reseal itself after autosampler injection and eliminate solvent evaporation between injections. |

The 96 Deep Well Family
The Deep Well Family offers a choice of square well volumes that include 350µL, 1.0mL, and 2.0mL.
Each well has a conical base to aid sample concentration, reconstitution, and centrifugation.
These Square Deep Well plates maintain the cross section and the standard plate format. All these deep well plates are:
- Manufactured from inert polypropylene that provides the least amount of extractables
- With liquid handling systems, there is less adjustment necessary. When using samples or assays of different volumes, you need only specify outside dimensions once
- The well corners have a defined radius to eliminate capillary creep

Barcoding Available
BioTube Racks
These racks have 1.2mL tubes which are available individually or in strips of 8 or 12 tubes, and are available sterile and non-sterile. The tubes, strips, sealing caps, and boxes are available separately as well. All components are made from the highest grade polypropylene, are autoclavable, and can be stored at temperatures as low as -80ºC.
Each rack cover has an alphanumeric numbering system for identifying tubes and is supplied with a removable 96-place ID card for recording sample location. The transparent cover allows the user to see the contents of the rack and is keyed to the base to prevent misalignment.
The AWLS-T100 series offers a color coding system using interchangeable plastic grids. The unique grid stands on four legs and can be removed from the base of the box and placed on a lab counter as a self-standing support. It can also be placed in a refrigerator or freezer shelf for improved air circulation around the tubes, or in a water bath to allow controlled warming. The racks are available in four colors; blue, green, red, and yellow.

The AWLS-T101 series has a rack that conforms to SBS Standards, and is therefore suitable for use with robotic systems and for transferring liquids with multichannel pipettors and autosamplers that conform to 96 well microplate systems.
These racks are ideal for HTLV-III testing, bacterial and hybridoma cell uptake studies, cell harvesting, pharmaceutical quality control, receptor binding assays, RIA, and EIA.

Tube Sealing
Sealing caps for both the MiniTubes and BioTubes are available individually, strips of 8 or in strips of 12. (Note: the caps are made of polyethylene and are not autoclavable, but are available pre-sterilized.)
Another option for sealing the tubes is ArctiSeal AWSM-2002RB. The ArctiSeal mat closure is made from PTFE coated silicone, and the sealing plugs fit into each individual well providing no cross-contamination. The sealing mats do not need any adhesives or heat to seal the tubes. The working temperature range is from -80°C to 200°C, which means ArctiSeal is suitable for cold storage and is autoclavable.

ArcticWhite offers the MMI glass bottom plates.
The unique new glass plate processing
technique slashes autofluorescence to less than 5 percent
of the level for unprocessed plates and generates a higher signal-to-noise ratio.
These glass bottom plates are available in 96, 384 and 1536-well versions and are suitable for all receptor-ligand fluorescent recognition probes. In addition, the overall microplate flatness reduces scanning and imaging error across the entire plane, and the imaging plates are designed and manufactured to comply with SBS standards (127.8 x 85.6 x14.6 mm).
The 96 well and 384 well plates are available with a glass bottom thickness of either 175µm or 700µm. The 1536 well plate is available with a glass bottom thickness of 175µm.
Product range
These plates are available either uncoated, for laser scanning and confocal imaging analysis, or as CellCoat microplates with coated glass-bottoms for cell-based assays and tissue research. These are available with a full range of extracellular matrix proteins and attachment factors.
Special low-bind plates are coated with special cellulose derivatives and designed
to minimize nonspecific adsorption. They are particularly suitable for FCS and
inverse microscopy.
The LB8 coated plates are ideal for surface based assays and coated
with a special cellulose derivative. The capture molecules, such as streptavidin
or other customized coatings, are covalently linked to this cellulose monolayer,
eliminating nonspecific adsorption. The plate is suitable for single molecule
detection used with the MMI LB8 plate reader.

Filter Plates
96 Well Filter Plates
ArcticWhite offers two options for 96 well 2mL/well filter plates: the square bottom or the round bottom.
The square bottom filter plate such as AWFP-F20000 with a 25µm polyethylene frit is ideal for solid phase extraction,
and solid phase organic synthesis resin filtration. Additional pore sizes are available. The more versatile round bottom,
such as AWFP-F20059, allows for more filter media options, including but not limited to glass fiber, PVDF, PES, and nylon.

384 Well Filter Plates
| 140µL sample volume capacity, with either short drip or long drip directors, rigid sidewalls, and optional bar coding make this ANSI/SBS X-2004 standards 384 well filter plate, ideal for high throughput sample processing in DNA binding, PCR clean-up and Plasmid sample preparation applications. This filter plate can be processed using either vacuum filtration or centrifugation. Proprietary individual well sealing eliminates cross contamination, and chemically resistant polypropylene construction inhibits low binding. Sample volume is maximized with a square to round well shape which minimizes sample retention. Multi Filter Media Configurations
Filter plates with mixed filter media material and/or pore sizes can be customized to meet the researcher’s specific needs. Please inquire.
Currently we off several standard multi media plates. AWFP-0995-1 is a 96 Well Long Drip Polypropylene Filter Plate, with 800µL/Well capacity, and packed with a 0.45µmNylon filter with a 20µm PE Top Frit. This filter plate is ideal for the filtration of solid phase extraction elution solvent and delivers particulate-free filtrate. It is suitable for processing by either centrifugation or vacuum.

Protein Precipitation
AWFP-240100: The Ideal Protein Precipitation Filtration Plate
The ideal protein precipitation filter plate should have the following features:
- Pre filter to trap large flocculent particles
- Final filter to trap fine protein particles
- Hydrophobic/Oleophobic filters to retain sample/acetonitrile for mixing with no leakage or breakthrough, until vacuum or centrifugation is applied.
- Pore size sufficient to allow ideal flow rate.
- Inert filter material to ensure no adsorption of sample components.
- Filter to retain all protein flocculent - no break through
- Features of plate to allow hands off approach - highly automatable
The features of the AWFP-240100 protein precipitation filter plate are as follows:
- Unique proprietary treatment of filters - retains acetonitrile/sample mix above filters to ensure full mixing - no leakage.
- Pre-filter retains large flocculent particles - saves any blockage problems.
- Not necessary to use sealing cap on base of plate due to sample/acetonitrile retention.
- Good flow rate due to pore size of filters - proprietary treatment allows for a larger pore size to be used.
- No sample breakthrough as only gentle vacuum is required for separation.
- Plate format allows better automation of separation.
- No protein breakthrough
- No adsorbing of relevant analytes on inert polyethylene filters.

Plate Sealing & Closures
ArctiSeal™ Microtiter Plate Sealing Mats
ArctiSeal mat closures provide the researcher an inert sealing mat, made from PTFE coated silicone. The sealing closures fit into each individual well providing no cross-contamination. The sealing mats do not need any adhesives or heat to seal the plates. The working temperature range is from -80°C to 200°C, which means ArctiSeal is suitable for cold storage and is autoclavable. Because ArctiSeal is made to the standard titer plate format, they are compatible with all autosamplers and liquid handling systems.
Another Innovation in the ArctiSeal Mat Closure
If the researcher is not planning on piercing the mat closure, ArcticWhite now introduces ArctiSeal mat closures that do not have the sample injection cavity. This mat design provides superior sealing performance for cyclical short and long term storage, shipping plate samples, and organic reaction chemistry.

ArctiSeal with PTFE Film
When using aggressive solvents such as DMSO, chlorinated solvents, or TFA, ALL of the ArctiSeal mat closures are available with PTFE (Teflon) film. The standard film thickness is 3mil, but 5mil and 7mil films are also available. ArctiSeal with PTFE film is ideal for long term compound storage and organic synthesis applications, and is available on the 96 Round, 96 Square, 384 Round and 384 Square Well Sealing Mats.

Clear Silicone
ArcticWhite introduces ArctiSealTM clear silicone sealing mats. The 96 Round, AWSM-1002RAM, is perfectly mated for wide diameter round well plates, and is pre-scored. AWSM-1002RAM is also available with a chemically resistant PTFE film on the liquid contact side, AWSM-1002RAMF.
AWLS-X10005, 2mL Round Deep Well Plate, sealed with AWSM-1002RAMF, is an ideal combination for Liquid/Liquid extractions.

ArctiSealTM AWSM-200F is our silicone sealing mat with PTFE film which provides the maximum sealing and solvent resistance, ideal for organic synthesis. AWSM-1007TPE (pierceable) and AWSM-1007TPS (solid) are made from Santoprene, a thermoplastic elastomer, which offers excellent sealing and solvent resistant characteristics. |

PCR Sealing Mats
Now available are the ArctiSealTM silicone sealing mats for both standard 96 well and 384 well PCR plates. They may be used during the cycling process and are recommended for sample storage. They are pierceable and re-sealable which allows access to each well using a syringe needle. Also available are compression and expansion sealing mats that are placed between the microplate and the thermocycler's heated lid to form a perfect seal, thus preventing well to well contamination during the cycling process. All PCR sealing mats are RNase,DNase, DNA, and pyrogen free.

ArcticWhite introduces the new MicronPlus family of pattern adhesive sealing films.
This patented technology offers adhesive sealing films where the adhesive is only in the colored pattern, no adhesive over the sample. The pattern adhesive films are suitable for polypropylene and polystyrene microplates and are available in a variety of film material. A variety of adhesive colors is also available.

 For standard 96 well microtiter and deep well plates, a round well pattern with 7.5mm diameter (ID) pattern will provide superior sealing with easy application |
 For 96 well PCR plates and narrow diameter plates (typically found with half height plates and plates with tube inserts) , a round well design with 6.0mm diameter (ID) provides adhesive coverage for complete sealing, eliminating well-to-well contamination and sample matrix evaporation. |

Traditional Sealing Films and Foil
ArcticWhite offers a carefully selected range of adhesive sealing films and foil with the following features:
- No contamination of well contents by the tape adhesive

- Good optical properties for monitoring well content through the film

Thermal Adhesive Sealing Film
PCR
For PCR applications the adhesive sealing film consists of 2.0mil polypropylene film coated on one side with a pressure sensitive acrylate adhesive which does not interfere with cycle reactions. It is ideal for reducing well-to-well contamination and/or spill over in sensitive PCR applications where the minimization of evaporation and vapor loss is critical. Not only does it offer low-autofluorescence but it will prevent vapor loss and is thermostable and functional from -70ºC to +95ºC. These films are RNAse, DNAse and DNA-free, and DMSO resistant, and are available sterile and non-sterile.
Ultra-Clear For Real Time PCR
The film clarity of the Ultra-Clear adhesive film allows for optical analysis during Real Time PCR. The unique pressure sensitive adhesive has no tacky residue that can interfere with optical analysis.
ELISA/EIA
With a polyester film and uniformly applied acrylic adhesive, this adhesive sealing film eliminates the edge effect in sensitive ELISA assays. It is suitable for sealing tissue culture plates, for short term storage and incubations, for transport and containment of biohazardous solutions. It is functional over the temperature range -40ºC to +65ºC, and is available in both non-sterile and sterile packaging.
Breathable Film
This porous adhesive film allows for effective gas exchange for cellular and bacterial cultivation, while preventing contamination. It will seal polypropylene and polystyrene culture plates, 96 well plates, 384 well plates and other assay plates.
Adhesive Foam Sealing Tape
This pierceable sealing foam is ideal for aqueous liquids and will reseal itself after piercing with an autosampler needle. If multiple injections are required, it is piercable 2-3 times. It is suited for 96 and 384 well plates made from either polypropylene or polystyrene.
Aluminum Sealing Foil
This type of adhesive seal is ideal for manual sealing during PCR work and also for high throughput applications, and is ideal for light sensitive protocols. It resists temperatures from -86ºC to +130ºC, is DMSO resistant and is pierceable with a pipette tip or autosampler needle.
